Sellers Code Of Conduct
As a valued seller, you play a vital role in maintaining a positive and trustworthy environment for all buyers. By adhering to this Code of Conduct, you are contributing to the overall success and reputation of our platform.
Please read and follow these guidelines closely:
1. Honest Representation and Descriptions:
Provide accurate and detailed product descriptions.
Use high-quality images that represent your products accurately.
Avoid using misleading or deceptive information.
2. Authentic Products:
Sell only genuine products that you have the right to sell.
Do not sell counterfeit, fake, or unauthorized items.
3. Competitive Pricing:
Set fair and competitive prices for your products.
Avoid price gouging or unjustified price hikes.
4. Customer Service Excellence:
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns.
Provide clear communication regarding shipping, tracking, and delivery times.
Our internal messaging system allows Sellers to interact directly with their customers, ensuring safe and consistent communication between them. This system offers option for text, images and videos attachment. Sellers are not allowed to reach out to their customers externally through channels like WhatsApp or email.
Customers are not permitted to contact Sellers via email or WhatsApp to discuss the accuracy of the items they've received, including sending photos and videos of those items. Customers must discuss these matters through our internal messaging system.
5. Timely Order Fulfillment:
Fulfill orders promptly according to the stated processing times.
Notify customers promptly if any delays are expected.
6. Accurate Shipping Information:
Provide accurate shipping details, including tracking numbers and estimated delivery dates.
Choose appropriate shipping methods to ensure safe and timely delivery.
7. Transparent Policies:
Clearly state your return, exchange, and refund policies, as long as they meet the minimum requirements of the Treasures Auctions Terms of Use.
Honor these policies in a fair and consistent manner.
8. Privacy and Data Protection:
Handle customer data and information responsibly and in compliance with relevant laws.
Protect customer privacy and do not misuse their information.
9. Collaboration and Positive Interaction:
Engage in respectful and professional communication with customers and platform administrators.
Avoid any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior.
You agree that you will not, directly or indirectly, make or ratify any defamatory comments or remarks as defined by law, in writing, orally or electronically, about Opal Auctions, Gem Rock Auctions, Jewelry Auctioned, Coins Auctioned or Treasures Auctions and their respective products and services.
Sellers are able to share images and videos of their items through our internal messaging system if customers request additional photos or videos to confirm the quality and/or accuracy of the items they wish to purchase.
Sellers are not allowed to provide these images and/or videos via other methods, such as email or WhatsApp. This policy is in place to ensure a consistent buying experience within the marketplace, where customers can feel supported by the Sellers.
Customers are not permitted to contact Sellers via email or WhatsApp to discuss the accuracy of the items they've received, including sending photos and videos of those items. Customers must discuss these matters through our internal messaging system.
10. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
Adhere to all local, national, and international laws and regulations applicable.
Ensure your products meet safety and quality standards.
11. Account Integrity:
Maintain only one seller account and do not engage in fraudulent activities.
Do not manipulate reviews, ratings, or other platform features.
12. Reporting Violations:
Promptly report any violations of this Code of Conduct, suspicious activity, or inappropriate behavior to the platform administrators.
13. Continuous Improvement:
Strive for continuous improvement in your products, customer service, and business practices.
Actively check feedback from customers to enhance your offers.
Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct may result in various consequences, including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. We value your commitment to maintaining a safe, trustworthy, and vibrant online marketplace community.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Pay your fees by 15th of each month within 7 days
Verified Sellers are not permitted to bid on family, their own or any related companies listings on any of The Treasures Auctions Network websites
Verified Sellers must list accurate descriptions and use correct categories and abide by the rules as per the Listing An Item - What You Need To Know article.
Verified Sellers are not permitted to have links to other external web sites or email addresses from any site within The Treasures Auctions Network. This includes listings.
Verified Sellers have an obligation to sell at whatever price the auction items sell for
Sellers must abide by shipping processing times (1 - 2 business days) as well as processing returns for refunds (7 days from receipt of the item).
Refund Policy – all wins have a 7 day period for return if the buyer is not 100% satisfied with their purchase. The refund amount to the buyer must equal the original transaction (stones/s + shipping + insurance where applicable) but does not have to include the cost of the item being posted/returned to the seller. Sellers are not permitted to charge a restocking fee for returned items.
Verified Sellers can contact their buyers regarding a specific purchase and are NOT permitted to contact buyers who have not purchased from them or shown interested in an item. Sellers are NOT permitted to messages to any buyer regarding self promotion, ‘spammy’ messages and harassment.
Verified Sellers found ‘handing over’ or selling their store to another individual will be terminated immediately and legal action may be taken
If a bond is returned to the seller without permission from The Treasures Auctions Network your sellers account will be closed immediately without notification
If your seller account is suspended for any reason, any amounts owed will become due and payable immediately
Verified Sellers must not defame or criticize or slander The Treasures Auctions Network including stock, sellers or customers in any external circumstances. This includes but is not limited to social media, Facebook, Twitter, forums or print media
Verified Sellers on Opal Auctions or Gem Rock Auctions are eligible to apply for a Sellers account on Jewelry Auctioned or Coins Auctioned with no monthly plan fee
Verified Sellers may not entice customers to purchase items outside of the Treasures Auctions Network.
The Treasures Auctions networks reserves the right to remove, suspend and ban any store or individual without notice.
If an item is purchased, then the buyer pays for testing at a gemstone lab of their choice, and the item is found to be incorrectly described when it was sold, the seller may be liable to refund the full price of the item, as well as reimburse the buyer for any fees that they incurred while getting the item tested
Physical Object Assessment - Either we or a third party acting on our behalf may acquire an object you offer for sale via Treasures Auctions to conduct a physical assessment of its legitimacy and quality. These assessments are conducted randomly and are not specific to any particular object. The main criteria for such assessment are to verify if the object matches its description and adheres to our submission guidelines. Following the assessment, if the object fails to meet these criteria, the sale will be cancelled, and the object will be returned to you, unless agreed otherwise. You will be responsible for refunding us the purchase price paid for the object
Costs of the assessment and measures - if your object successfully passes the assessment, you'll just need to refund us the purchase price, and we'll cover all the expenses associated with it. However, if your object doesn't meet the assessment standards, you agree to refund us the purchase price along with any reasonable costs we incurred during the process. These costs may include shipping expenses (both ways), any customs duties or taxes that we paid upfront, as well as the audit fees, such as those incurred for hiring a third-party expert.
