Petrified wood with a rough black quartz exterior bark, and a cavity-filled interior predominated by soft-blue chalcedony. It's fluorescent, too, as in several of the photos! This petrified wood was created at the beginning of the Paleogene, dating to a time shortly after the demise of the dinosaur, between 65 to 60 million years ago.
