In 2010 to celebrate the Lunar Year of the Tiger the Perth Mint released a very special Limited Issue Lunar Tiger Gold Proof 3 Coin Set struck in solid fine .9999 pure Gold.
The set includes the $100 One Hundred Dollar Gold Proof 1oz Coin, the $25 Twenty Five Dollar Gold Proof 1/4 Coin and $15 Fifteen Dollar Gold Proof 1/10oz Coin.
The reverse of all the coins depict the Lunar Tiger while the obverse has Ian Rank Broadley's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
